Overview:
This is a 24bit, 640x480 Bootlogo for EGS.
Install:
To use it set in EGS-DisplayAdjust (or EGS-Tweaker, it's the same) the
logomode at 640x480 or another resolution that support 24bit and save,
then put the file 'bootlogo' in the directory 'EGS:Monitors' and reset
the amiga.
History.
I don't like the default bootlogo, I want something that when looked
at you say 'Uau, 24 bit graphics!' so it is. I Hope :-).
Bonus.
There are in this archive two monitorfile for EGS and Spectrum I've
done, if you want put it in EGS:Monitors/specs, they are for
Commodore 1960 and for IDEK-MF 5017 monitors.
They contain a lot of different resolution (832x624 for emplant
owners too), the line frequency is max. 40Khz and the refresh rate
is between 49 and 90 Hz.
The resolutions are from 320x200 up to 1600x1280.
IDEK-MF 5017 reach 704x560x24 bit not interlaced and 960x720x24
interlaced. The highest resolution not interlaced is 1024x768 at 256
colors.
Copyright.
Done in 1995 by Il Vago of TBC.
The bootlogo, the monitor files and this doc are freeware, use it and
spread as you want, at your ownrisk :-), I take no responsability for
any danage to your monitor, however I've used them for more than a
year..
Miscelaneous.
Thanks to the authors of the following programs used to produce the
Bootlogo:
Planeteer (A must for egs owners)
Real 3D (it take 28 hour to render on a A4000/040/33!)
ImageFx 2.0 (marvelous, but the egs render is a bit buggy)
EGS-Paint (when a new version?)
EGS (The best user interface!)
Finaly thanks to Flash of TBC, he knows why :-).
